内容記述 | 近年,国際的な研究の数々から,幼児教育の中でパターンに関する内容を取り入れることが,子どもの数学的な成長や発達を助けると分かっている。こうした結果から,いくつかの国ではすでに幼児教育カリキュラムへパターンに関する事項を反映させている。一方で,日本では幼児期の算数・数学教育に注目が集まっているとは言えず,幼児教育においても就学後の教育においても学習指導内容の中でパターン認識が取り上げられてはいない。しかしながら,幼児期のパターン認識は数学に親しみをもった子どもを育み,数学的知識や技能を生涯にわたって活用することのできる人材の育成に貢献するものである。したがって,今後は「各種要領と指針をふまえた算数・数学教育に関する保幼小の円滑な接続」「パターンに関する教育を取り入れることに対する保育者の意識」「幼児がパターンに関する遊びを行う際の保育者の関わり方」について,一層の研究と実践が求められる。 | |||||
