This preliminary study attempts to explore the correlation between university students' dependency on network communication and their relationship with their mothers. The results of the study clearly indicate that the relationship with one's her mother is one of the strongest factors that cause someone to become dependent on network communication. Also, the results of the factor analysis show that the following three factors comprise the image structure of network dependency:
1) "Trust and Fondness", 2) "Respect" and 3) "Anxiety for Separation." |
